MSP Supplementary Benefits
Practice Members may be eligible for partial reimbursement through Medical Services Plan Supplementary Benefits. If you qualify, MSP contributes $23.00 per visit for a combined annual limit of 10 visits each calendar year for the following services from approved providers:
- Acupuncture
- Chiropractic
- Massage therapy
- Naturopathy
- Physical therapy; and
- and Non-Surgical Podiatry.
Those who may be eligible for MSP coverage of these supplementary benefit services include:
- Those who have applied and been deemed eligible based on their annual net income (less than $42,000)
- Income Assistance recipients
- Convention refugees
- Inmates of B.C. Correctional Facilities
- Individuals enrolled with MSP through the At Home Program
- Residents of long-term care facilities receiving the Guaranteed Income Supplement (GIS)
- Individuals enrolled with MSP as Mental Health Clients; and
- First Nations individuals with valid B.C. Medical Plan coverage through the First Nations Health Authority

Practice members can apply for MSP Supplementary Benefits online at https://my.gov.bc.ca/msp/benefit/eligibility.

Please note that our office is currently opted out, which means that we will collect full payment for your treatment and submit your claim to MSP for reimbursement. Once MSP processes your claim, you will be reimbursed directly from MSP.
